Volunteer

GCCA is a non-profit community arts center that strives to support the arts community by making our center a hub for accessible visual arts education and experiences. Volunteers would be helping to support our 21 studio artists, 3 Brandon Fellows, staff and over a 1,000 students of all ages and backgrounds through the year. 

Volunteers will also receive perks which currently include:

  • 5% at the gift shop for every 20 hours worked(roughly 4 shifts) or
  • $10 off a class of your choice for every 20 hours worked(roughly 4 shifts)

We also recommend you check with your place of work as some businesses will also have perks when you volunteer for nonprofits such as GCCA! We at GCCA appreciate any and all of the help our volunteers provide. As a thank you, we will be throwing a volunteer appreciation event once a year during April as well. How do I sign up for shifts on the volunteer app?

Once you make a profile via the link above, sign up to Opportunities (types of help needed) to see the shifts available.

What type of help does GCCA need?

GCCA needs all kinds of help which includes but not limited to handyman work, administrative needs, mailing projects, First Fridays receptions, organization, deep cleaning, writing, and more.

Can my volunteer perks stack?

Unfortunately, at this time no as our programs do not allow for this.

If I don’t see a volunteer shift that works for me can I suggest one that does?
