Elena Denali Hart is a painter and photographer based in Greenville, South Carolina. Originally from the Chicagoland area, she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art from The College of Wooster, with minors in Film Studies and History. During her time at Wooster, she was awarded the George Olsen Prize in Art, presented annually to one graduating student for excellence in the program.
Hart has exhibited her work nationally and internationally, with shows in Illinois, Ohio, South Carolina, and Italy. Her senior thesis exhibition, Angels & Saints in a Modern Renaissance, was presented at both The College of Wooster and the Evanston Art Center. She has participated in international artist residencies, including RUC in Brescia, Italy, and her work has been featured in publications and curated collections highlighting emerging contemporary artists.
In addition to her studio practice, Hart teaches painting and photography throughout the Upstate region. Her work is held in private collections and continues to evolve through an exploration of color, narrative, and the emotional complexity of the human figure.
