Kym Easter

Oil & Acrylic Paint

My love of nature is the driving force behind my artwork. Living in Travelers Rest, SC I’m daily surrounded by the beauty of nature. The outdoors has always been my happy place.

I paint primarily animal portraits and wildlife in acrylics and oils. I tend to paint in a series of paintings, this allows me to experiment with one subject until I’ve tried all of my ideas. Using copyright-free reference photos the research required for each new series can take months, but when I’m ready to start painting I work for days and hours on end.

My hope is that my animals make a connection with the viewer and a story is sparked in their imagination.
