No liquids. • We don’t use glue/paint here. Keep food/drinks outside.
Be resourceful. • Explore, imagine, experiment. Ask for help if needed.
Reset the space. • Make as big a mess as you’re willing to clean up.
Creation and Play for All
The Art Nook
GCCA is excited to host the Art Nook: ReCraft at GCCA, a MakerSpace for kids and kids at heART! On our second floor just inside the entrance to the Gray Loft, this space allows a place for creation, play, and learning. Kids can work with art supplies, creative reuse materials supplied by ReCraft, and explore a library of books on art and more.
This space is open to the public on a regular schedule and is also a valued space during events like GCCA NightShifts. The Art Nook also coordinates with Summer Art Camp to provide even more ways for kids and parents alike to learn and explore their creative side.
The Art Nook is open to the public from 10 am-4 pm Mondays-Fridays, and from 12-2 pm on Saturdays.
Entry is free, though all guests must sign the linked waiver.
