Please register at least one week in advance of the class/workshop start date. Classes/workshops with low enrollment will be closed 3 – 5 business days before the first class.
Cancelation Policy
A partial refund or credit is given to students who cancel 10 days or more prior to the class start date. A cancellation fee of $30 will be applied to cancellations. If a student cancels enrollment within 10 days of the first class no refund or credit will be given. If a class is cancelled due to insufficient enrollment, registrants will be notified by email or phone within 24 – 48 hours of the first class. Registrants will be given the opportunity to transfer to another class or issued a refund. Refunds will include the total cost of the course fee, including materials and studio fees (if applicable).
Late Registration Policy
A $20 fee will be applied to all registrations ocurring after the posted registration closing date. All late registrations will have to be processed by GCCA Art School Administration and are accomodated at the sole discrection at GCCA Art School Administration.
Membership
Every donor who gives a gift of $50 or more annually becomes a member of GCCA for the current calendar year. There is no longer a separate membership fee. GCCA members receive the benefit of advance registration and discount codes for classes, workshops, and summer camps. Animals
Pets are not permitted at GCCA, with the exception of authorized pet therapy and assistance dogs, in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
Smoking
GCCA is a smoke-free environment. No smoking is allowed on the premises.
Mobile Devices
Students and Instructors are to be respectful of others by turning their cell phones to vibrate, or off, during class time. If anyone (Student or Instructor) must take a call during class time, please step out of the classroom to do so.
Videos & Photographs
GCCA periodically documents educational offerings and events for promotional purposes. Registration in a course or attendance at an event includes permission to photograph or videotape students and/or their artwork and to use the image in publicity materials unless students and/or attendees specifically request otherwise.
Tools & Materials
Students are responsible for their tools, supplies and any other possessions that may be brought to any classes or workshops at the GCCA or left on GCCA’s premises. GCCA is not responsible for any items that are lost, stolen, or damaged as a result of any student’s participation in any class, workshop or course at the GCCA or activities related thereto.
Risks
It is the responsibility of all students and parents to know their sensitivities, allegories, or propensity for reaction to any materials, allergens, environmental conditions, or other substances. GCCA shall provide information regarding the materials and/or conditions for classes or workshops at the GCCA. It is expressly agreed to and understood that, by each student’s participation in a course or workshop at the GCCA that the student agrees to and assumes all of the risks associate with his/her participation in the corresponding class activities, including, but not limited to, the risks associated with physical injury, illness (including COVID-10 infection), property damage or loss, and/or any other risks, damages, or losses that may occur as a result of the student’s participation in a class, workshop, or course.
Claims
Class registrant(s), student(s), and/or their respective agents, successor(s), assign(s), and/or heir(s), shall, to the fullest extent possible indemnify and hold harmless the GCCA and its agents, directors, board members, employees, or servants, whether paid or volunteer, against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, costs, fees, including attorney’s fees, or monetary obligations that arise out of or are connected in any way with a party’s participation in any class, workshop, and/or course provided by, sponsored, or hosted by the GCCA, regardless of the location of said class, workshop, or course.

Delays
GCCA shall not be liable for any delays or failures in performance resulting from any Majeure Force,” which shall include, without limitation, acts of God, labor or employment strikes, shortages, lockouts, or other labor disturbances; fires; floods, tornadoes, earthquakes, or other natural disasters; epidemics or pandemics; quarantines; governmental lockdowns; war or acts of war (whether war be declared or not); acts of terrorism; riots, civil unrest, or commotion; data breaches or other cybersecurity events, or other events beyond the reasonable control of the GCCA.
Safety
It is expressly understood that the GCCA seeks to provide a positive experience for all class registrants, students, participations, or their respective parent(s) as applicable. Therefore, each class registrants, students, participants, or, as applicable, their respective parent(s) agrees to abide by the safety precautions, protocols, and/or instructions provided by the GCCA; the instructors for each class, workshop, or course; industry standards and/or instruction information or protocols provided by any manufacturer or distributor of any materials used in a class, workshop or course at the GCCA; which shall include, but is not limited to, the exercise of reasonable care (the “Safety Protocols”). In the event that a class registrant, student, participant, or their respective parent(s) fails to abide by the Safety Protocols or takes any actions that jeopardize the safety of any of instructor, student or class participant, or any of the GCCA’s agents, directors, board members, employees, or servants, whether paid or volunteer, the GCCA may, in its sole discretion, remove the individual or individuals committing any such acts immediately. The GCCA shall not be liable to any class registrants, students, participants, or their respective parent(s) for its decision to exercise the rights and/or authority outlined in this section.
