Henriquez is a Chilean Abstract Fiber Artist based in Moore, SC. She began her journey as an artist back in Santiago, Chile, when she took a class on “weaving, “ and from that point on, she fell in love with it. My work is influenced by bright colors and abstract forms as well as the beauty of nature.

Kara Virginia Russo is a mixed media abstract artist working with watercolor, ink, collage, pencil, and embroidery to create works with layers of meaning and symbol. After receiving her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Converse College in Spartanburg, SC, she lived in Asia and Europe before returning with her husband and two children to settle in Greenville, SC. Her work portrays the essence of things, bypassing realism and portraying what cannot be seen.

Jim Gorman grew up in Peoria, IL. He majored in art throughout his college years at Bradley University, Oklahoma University, and the University of Illinois where he earned a BFA in Crafts. He served in the USAF, stationed in Seville, Spain. At Indiana University he completed his MFA in Ceramics and Photography. For over 30 years Jim balanced teaching with running his own art studio, first in Indiana and then Connecticut.

He exhibited his work in numerous regional, national, and international juried exhibitions. As a potter Jim explored both the controlled, precise structural character of clay and the expressive plasticity through loose expressive handling of the medium. In 1995 he returned to painting and printmaking applying what he had learned working in clay and expanding it through his painting. Just as in ceramics, it is not enough for him to repeat form after form or remake what had been done historically, rather he looks to continually explore and discover. In 2008 Jim moved to Greenville and had a series of studios in the Village of West Greenville.

My work over the years has evolved from natural landscapes to abstract and non-objective image making. My goal is create a new image, not simply to reproduce something in the known world. I develop my images spontaneously as I work the surface of the canvas or paper, starting with a general idea in mind and adding elements as the image grows. My techniques continue to evolve and include direct application using brushes, sticks, rollers, glass, metal and even paper-to- paper transfers. Color and texture are prominent elements in my work.

Ninja Picasso was born in the space between discipline and chaos. Half precision, half instinct—one eye trained on structure, the other chasing motion. Where some saw blank walls, Ninja Picasso saw rhythm, opportunity, and stories waiting to be pulled into the open.

Raised on the raw language of graffiti and shaped by years of practice, the work became a balance of control and freedom. Plans were sketched, but never locked in. Every line left room to breathe. Every piece allowed to evolve.

Today, Ninja Picasso creates art that transforms spaces and invites people in—not just to look, but to feel, question, and participate. Because the wall is only the beginning. The real artwork lives in the energy it leaves behind.
