The Carrie Burns Brown Art School at GCCA welcomes artists of all levels to elevate their craft with dynamic, hands-on classes and workshops. Guided by expert teaching artists from the Upstate and Southeast, you'll explore a variety of mediums—including drawing, painting, fiber arts, printmaking, jewelry, photography, and more. Art by Appointment

With Art by Appointment, you can enjoy art your way! Book a private session to explore art, learn at your own pace through individualized lessons, or celebrate with friends or family at a private art party. These experiences are available at any level and are perfect for birthday parties, corporate outings, team-building activities, school field trips, and more! Let us create a unique experience made just for you or your group!

Host your own Paint & Sip–style (Juice Box Edition for the kiddos) party at GCCA! For $250, you’ll get a two-hour guided art experience for up to 10 guests—just $10 for each additional participant. Pick your theme, bring your favorite food, drinks, and décor, and we’ll take care of the rest with a fantastic instructor and all the supplies you need. You’ll also have 30 minutes before to set up and 30 minutes after to wrap up (3 hours total).

What happens when you combine multiple artistic mediums into one project? Follow GCCA’s instructors in an exploration of all visual mediums in this engaging workshop!

Jewelry

Wear your own creation! Step into GCCA’s state-of-the-art jewelry studio and try your hand at jewelry making!

Printmaking

Jump into this layered visual art medium and learn to create your own prints! GCCA’s instructors will lead you step by step through this engaging art form in the printmaking studio at GCCA!
